PURPOSE: A functional toothpaste containing cinnamon powder is provided to remove plaque and bad breath, relieve toothache and ensure anti-inflammation. CONSTITUTION: A cinnamon toothpaste contains 0.1-90 weight% of cinnamon powder having 0.3-300 um of particle size and remaining amount of toothpaste ingredients. The toothpaste ingredients comprise abrasive, moisturizer, binder, foaming agent, sweetener, antiseptic, perfume, pH adjusting agent, and whitening agent. A method for manufacturing the toothpaste comprises: a step of pulverizing cinnamon to particles of 0.3-300 um; and a step of mixing 0.1-90 weight% of cinnamon powder with remaining amount of toothpaste ingredients. The pulverization comprises: a first pulverization performed at room temperature and second pulverization performed at -8°C to -200°C with a pulverizer for organic or inorganic ingredient.
