THERMAL FUSION COMPOSITION FOR WASTE ASBESTOS AND THERMAL FUSION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A thermal fusion composition for waste asbestos and a thermal fusion method using the same are provided to melt waste asbestos in a general incinerator, and to dissolve the difficulty to secure a waste landfill. CONSTITUTION: A thermal fusion composition for waste asbestos comprises 80~95 weight% an emulsion-based resin and 5~20 weight% sodium silicate salt. The emulsion-based resin is an acrylic resin of which a viscosity is 100 cps or less, a solid portion is 30±1 %, and pH is 6~7. A thermal fusion method using the thermal fusion composition comprises the steps of: impregnating 30~50 weight% solution consisting of emulsion-based resin and sodium silicate salt based on the total weight % of waste asbestos; and incinerating the waste asbestos in which the solution is impregnated at 700~900 °C.
