PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigar plug and a cigar socket, wherein an operation for insertion or removal of a cigar plug into or from a cigar socket is easy and the cigar plug is not removed from the cigar socket while using them. SOLUTION: This structure includes: press fixed members 58 that are movably disposed in a plurality of respective openings 34 formed at an equal angular interval in a sidewall of a plug body 12 of the cigar plug 10 in their radial directions; a spring material 56 that snapping-biases the press fixed member 58 in the direction of increasing the diameter so that a spreading width X of the press fixed member 58 is larger than the inner diameter R of a plug reception cylinder disposed in the cigar socket; and a switching member 20 that is disposed movably in its axial direction on the end of the plug body 12, bends the spring material 56 so that the spreading width X of the press fixed member 58 is smaller than the inner diameter R of the plug reception cylinder when moved toward the tip of the plug body 12 and moves to the opposite side by the snapping force of the spring material 56 to increase the diameter of the spring material 56 when unloading an external force.
