PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC high voltage generator which allows for down-sizing of a container for immersing a required circuit component into electric insulation oil or electric insulation gas, or of a solid electric insulation material surrounding the circuit component, while enhancing the reliability.SOLUTION: A voltage detector 7 surrounded by an electric insulation material is constituted of a series connection of a voltage sharing resistor part 7D1 consisting of a plurality of resistors connected in series and sharing substantially almost DC high voltage, and a resistor for detection sharing a small voltage corresponding to the DC high voltage thus detected. The voltage sharing resistor part 7D1 and the resistor for detection are connected between a high voltage part where a high voltage corresponding to the DC high voltage is applied and a low voltage part of a voltage corresponding to the ground voltage. At least the resistor in the voltage sharing resistor part 7D1 is arranged in the electric insulation material so as to surround high voltage sockets 8A, 8B as the center. |
