PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elasto-plastic hysteretic damper capable of functioning as a damper for input from a plurality of directions.SOLUTION: An elasto-plastic hysteretic damper capable of being applied to a building and/or a building structure includes a pair of first reinforcement parts 13 and 13, a plate-like shear part 11 that connects the pair of first reinforcement parts 13 and 13, and a pair of plates 14 and 15 that are connected between both ends of the pair of first reinforcement parts 13 and 13, respectively. The shear part 11 is inclined with respect to the first reinforcement part 13, and the shear part 11 is deformed for energy absorption when subjected to a load by input. |
