The present invention relates to a device and method for automatically generating a caricature for generating a caricature image with a photographed or stored photo image in a user terminal without an edition of a user, and a computer readable recording medium. Particularly, the device according to the present invention comprises a camera unit for photographing an original image to store in an original image database; an original image selection unit for allowing a user to select one image to be caricatured in images stored in the original image database; a face part extraction unit for extracting a face part in the original image selected by the user; a caricature conversion unit for converting to a caricature the extracted face part by the face part extraction unit; an image synthesis processing unit for synthesizing the face part converted by the caricature conversion unit with a certain position of image being synthesized; and a synthesis image storing unit for storing the synthesized image in a synthesis image database.
