The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fluorescent light source device with which it is possible to prevent emission of laser light to the outside and to ensure a high degree of safety. This fluorescent light source device is equipped with: an excitation light source comprising a semiconductor laser; a fluorescent body for emitting fluorescent light when excited by laser light from the excitation light source; a concave reflecting mirror for reflecting fluorescent light emitted from the fluorescent body; and a window member for transmitting fluorescent light reflected by the concave reflecting mirror, wherein a safety filter having light-blocking ability of light of the laser light wavelength region is provided between the mirror member and the concave reflecting mirror. The safety filter is preferably constituted by a flexible film having elasticity.
