Provided is an azimuth identification system which identifies the relative azimuth of a terminal device inside a mobile body, without being impacted by the travel direction of the mobile body. A server (14) distributes, to a terminal device (12), a mobile body travel direction, which is the travel direction of a mobile body (11) in the absolute azimuth. An identification unit calculates the difference between the distributed mobile body travel direction and a terminal travel direction, which is the travel direction of a terminal device (12) in the absolute azimuth. The identification unit uses the difference to identify a relative travel direction of the terminal device (12) in respect to the travel direction of the mobile body (11). |
