A back plate (10) and a backlight module having the back plate (10). The backlight module comprises a light guide plate (15) and an optical film (16) disposed on the light guide plate (15). The back plate (10) comprises a bottom plate (11) and a side plate (12) formed by bending an edge of the bottom plate (11). A plurality of positioning sheets (13) is disposed far away from an extension direction of the side plate (12) at a place where the side plate (12) and the bottom plate (11) are connected. The plurality of positioning sheets (13) and the side plate (12) are located on a same side of the bottom plate (11) and are disposed opposite to the extension direction of the side plate (12). The light guide plate (15) is disposed on the bottom plate (11). Also disclosed is a display device.
