Provided is a channel allocation device that can improve the throughput of a wireless communication system. The channel allocation device (11) comprises a matrix operation unit (102) and a channel allocation unit (103). The matrix operation unit (102) generates an upper triangular matrix or a lower triangular matrix from a symmetric matrix having, as the elements thereof, subject-to-interference amounts at the respective ones of a plurality of access points (APs). The channel allocation unit (103) allocates frequency channels to the respective ones of the plurality of APs by use of the upper triangular matrix or the lower triangular matrix generated by the matrix operation unit (102).
