PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for a braided shield electric wire capable of reducing electrical connection resistance between a braided wire and a shield shell.SOLUTION: The connection structure for the braided shield electric wire is configured to connect a distal end of a braided shield member 7 that covers a plurality of electric wires to a shield shell 5. The connection structure comprises: the shield shell 5 including a braided connection part that is covered by a distal end of the braided shield member 7 at an outer peripheral side; and a caulking member 29 which performs caulking from the outside of the braided shield member 7 covering the braided connection part. The braided connection part of the shield shell 5 includes: a substantially flat portion having an outer peripheral surface of which the cross section is formed flat, and extending in a long-axis direction of the flat shape; and a curved portion which is curved from both ends of the substantially flat portion and extends in a short-axis direction of the flat shape. In the substantially flat portion, a protrusion 49 is formed which protrudes closer to the braided shield member 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
