PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut-off device which does not receive a force of water flowing in, to the opening direction at the time of closing rotary motion as much as possible even if the device is pressed to open and which reduces impact on a door under surface and a floor surface at grounding on the floor surface so as to secure water tightness in the door under surface and floor surface.SOLUTION: A cut-off device comprises a cut-off door pivotally supported to be freely openable and closable between an opening position and a closing position on a support shaft extending in the vertical direction and to be freely elevated and lowered in the vertical direction along the support shaft, and the pressing direction of water pressure to the cut-off door in the closing position is matched with the opening direction of the cut-off door. In the cut-off device, the support shaft comprises energizing means for energizing the cut-off door upward, and the cut-off door can be displaced in a state of being separated from the floor surface between the opening position and the closing position, and in the closing position, by applying an external force against the energizing force of the energizing means, the cut-off door is made to drop so as to come into contact with the floor surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
