PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a dead angle of a platform door small, and reduce a manufacturing cost and the cost of installation work.SOLUTION: A platform door device (10) arranged along an edge of a platform includes a base (326) that is fixed to a top surface of the platform (P), a door storage case (302) that is mounted on the base (326), and slide doors (306 and 308) that are provided to be capable of freely protruding from/receding into the door storage case (302) in a direction along the edge of the platform (P).
