摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism capable of being executed at a small space and sufficiently ensuring secondary stroke at secondary collision at vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: A main shaft 11 integrated with a steering wheel can be telescopically adjusted within a set range and can be moved to an away position at a front side in an axial direction than the set range. A lock member 51 advanceable/retreatably into an axial movement area of the main shaft 11 is provided on a steering column 20 for axially movably and rotatably supporting the main shaft 11 and a fitting recession part 11b is provided on the main shaft 11. When the main shaft 11 is moved to the away position, the lock member 51 and the fitting recession part 11b are fitted and rotation of the main shaft 11 is restricted. When the main shaft 11 is moved to the front side in an axial direction than the away position, the lock member 51 is retreated to the outside of the axial movement area of the main shaft 11 and the advancement to the front side in the axial direction of the main shaft 11 is allowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
