PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of easily confirming a performance exhibition timing inherent to the tire in the tire in which a thin groove for compensation of the initial performance is provided on a surface of a tread part. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a plurality of land parts comprising blocks 4 or ribs 5 are divided on the tread part and a plurality of thin grooves 6 having depth of 0.1-0.8 mm, width of 0.1-0.8 mm and pitch of 0.5-2.0 mm are provided on tread surfaces of the land parts at an angle of 42°-60°relative to tire circumferential direction.
