The window handle unit (1) has a housing (2) attachable on a window sash. A rotatably supported eccentric disk (3) is provided with a recess (4) for lead-through of an operating rod of a window handle. A pivotably supported lever arm (5) is provided with an end (7), which stays in engagement with the eccentric disk at two opposite sides. A detection unit is provided for the detection of the pivoting position of the lever arm, where the opening condition is derivable from the detected pivoting position.
