The element (1) has a circulating pipe or hose flange (2) fluid-tightly fastened to a counter piece (3), where the element and the counter piece are moved relative to each other. A fastening device is provided for fluid-tight end position fixation of the pipe- or hose flange with the counter piece. A coupling unit (4) is provided for securing the counter piece and the pipe- or hose flange in a front position for fine positioning, before the fluid-tight end position fixation takes place by the fastening device. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing connection of a flange connection of a fluid loading unit with a connection at a storage for loading or discharging of fluid.
