PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing unit for a centrifuge that enables arrangement of many sample vessels within one swing-out. SOLUTION: A swing unit 100 that comprises a series of sample vessel recesses and can be inserted and placed within a centrifuge rotor head 1 so that it can spin around on the swing out axis, wherein the axes of the at least two sample vessel recesses are arranged in a skewed manner (are not parallel) with respect to one another.
