PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polyhydroxyalkanoic acid copolymer melting at low temperature without reduction of crystallization kinetic and excellent in melt processability.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a polyhydroxyalkanoic acid copolymer including culturing a transformant where a polyhydroxyalkanoic acid polymer catalyst gene is introduced into organism selected from E. coli, Ralstonia and Pseudomonas in a presence of a polyhydroxy alkanoic copolymer consisting of a 3-hydroxy butanoate unit and a 3-hydroxy-2-methylbutanoate unit, a carbon source and a precursor of 3-hydroxy-2-methylbutanoate and collecting the polyhydroxyalkanoate copolymer consisting of the 3-hydroxy butanoate unit and the 3-hydroxy-2-methylbutanoate unit from the obtaining culture.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
