PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion-type bone fixing member that is large in fixing force to the bone and has strength.SOLUTION: An insertion-type bone fixing member is formed of a bio-degradable and bio-absorbable material with the rigidity of an annular bulging part 11b of a shaft 11 being entrenched in a circumferential wall of a hole 3a and fixed therein when inserted to the hole 3a formed in a bone 3. The annular bulging part 11b has a tip side slope 11b1 and a base end side slope 11b2. The tip side slope 11b1 in a vertical cross-section shape is shaped so that the diameter is enlarged from the tip side toward the base end side with an angle θ1 of 5-30° to a base shaft 11a. The base end side slope 11b2 is shaped so that the diameter is reduced from the tip side toward the base end side with an angle θ2 of 75-90° to the base shaft 11a. An R 11r of a radius having 0.05-0.3 times an outer diameter D11a of the base shaft 11a is formed in a portion where the base end side slope 11b2 intersects with the base shaft 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
