PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle which can make a driver who is unfamiliar with drive easily grasp a display content.SOLUTION: A head-up display device 1 as a display device for a vehicle is arranged at an instrument panel part 10 in front of a driver's seat space, and constituted integrally with a combination meter which displays vehicle information such as a vehicle speed and an engine rotation number. The head-up display device 1 comprises an electric movable combiner 5. A control part 8 brings the combiner 5 into a laid-down state at a normal traveling screen in which the vehicle speed reaches a prescribed value or higher. The control part 8 brings the combiner 5 in an erected state in an upper position of a display screen 3 of the combination meter by controlling a movable mechanism 6 to a screen (low-speed, stop and backward traveling screen) other than the normal traveling screen, and projects a display image corresponding to the screen to the combiner 5 by controlling a projection part 7. For example, the display device displays a shift position simultaneously with a start of a traveling operation, and a turn indicator at right and left turns.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
