The present invention provides a battery module comprising: battery cells which are successively arranged on top of each other, capable of charging and discharging; cartridges forming the arrangement of the battery cells by fixing each outer periphery of the battery cells; and a heat transfer member installed between the battery cells, and fixed on the cartridge with part or whole of its outer periphery. The battery module of the present invention has effects of increasing cooling efficiency, reducing the size, and improving structural stability of the battery cells by comprising a structure capable of cooling and fixing the battery cells at the same time through combining the cartridge with the heat transfer member in which the heat generated by the battery cells is transferred.
