PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patina inhibition agent which can prevent generation of patina on a surface of copper without damaging the surface of copper, and can remove the generated patina, and a patina inhibition method therewith.SOLUTION: A patina inhibition agent contains at least one kind of water-soluble compounds chosen from dithiocarbamic acid and its salts. In a patina inhibition method using the patina inhibition agent, the patina inhibition agent is used so that the concentration of the water-soluble compounds is regulated to be 5-10000 mg/L in a water system.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
