PURPOSE: A method for selectively controlling line connection in a wireless local loop(WLL) system is provided to make one telephone subscriber selectively use many terminating telephone numbers to allow each terminating telephone number to originator groups according to telephone number usage amounts, so as to make calls by selecting telephone numbers only, called from a specific originator group. CONSTITUTION: A wireless local loop(WLL) system allows additional terminating telephone numbers to a telephone subscriber information memory with a man machine communication(MMC) command, relating to a telephone subscriber requesting additional services(S1). The WLL system previously sets up an activation feature code for activating a selective line connection function(S2). If the telephone subscriber attempts an origination by pressing the preset activation feature code and a terminating telephone number, a telephone subscriber information manager of a base station controller(BSC) confirms a selective line connection code applied through a base transceiver station(BTS) and a permitted line connection telephone number(S3). The manager activates the selective line connection function(S4), and simultaneously transmits a confirm sound to a telephone subscriber terminal through the BTS(S5). If another telephone subscriber attempts a line connection to the telephone subscriber, the manager searches a representative terminating telephone number relating to the attempted connection in the memory(S6). The manager decides which telephone number is the permitted terminating telephone number(S7). If the telephone number terminated by the another telephone subscriber is not the permitted terminating telephone number, the manager cancels a call(S8). If the telephone number is the permitted terminating telephone number, the manager connects the call(S9). |
