<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance dealing property regarding production in many types and in small quantities by a method where a braid cutting operation is performed stably in the terminal working operation of a shielded wire, even if the cutting length is long. SOLUTION: A cartridge 20 which is freely detachable is installed between a rotating table 8 and a gear disk 9. A braid-levitating pipe 29, a srap-dropping implement 30, a cylindrical outer cutting edge 31, and an inner cutting edge 32 which is integrated with the pipe 29, are provided at the cartridge. The tip of the braid S of the shielded wire A is opened, when it is beaten by a claw 17a of a braid-beating unit 17. In a state where the end of the wire is gripped by the claw 17a to be centered, the tip of the pipe 29 is inserted into the tip of the braid. Then the claw 17a is opened, the braid is pressed slightly by the insertion force of the pipe 29 so as to be shrunk, the braid is swollen to the outside, the pipe 29 is made to crawl to the inside of the braid, the outer cutting edge 31 is moved to the side of the inner cutting edge 32, so that the braid is cut.</p> |
