A high branch pruning shear assembly structure in which when a high branch pruning shears body 1 and a rod 2 are conjoined into a single structural entity or disassembled and separated, a thumb latch 3G articulates the movement of a bolt 3C that provides for both the disassembly and unitary conjoinment of the rod 2 and the shears body 1 without requiring any turning tools. As such, the invention herein is extremely convenient in its utilisation. After the rod 2 is inserted into a rod bore 36 in the hinge mount 3, the bolt 3C is inserted into the rod 2 such that it serves as a check bar that, in addition to securely fastening the rod 2 in the rod bore 36, prevents the rod 2 from slipping and turning in the rod bore 36 during the trimming of lofty plant and tree areas by the high branch pruning shears body 1, thereby enabling extremely efficient operation. |
