PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring density of ingredient in an object are provided to precisely measure density of ingredient in the object by removing a time difference between a reference light and a signal light. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring density of ingredient in an object includes a light source(111) generating a light having a first wavelength band for a specific object. An RF signal generating unit(113) generates the signal having a predetermined frequency band so as to create light having a second wavelength band from the first wavelength band. A tunable filter(114) is provided to generate beams having the second wavelength band according to an RF signal provided from the RF signal generating unit(113).
