<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor electrophotographic image printer with a small number of light-emitting panels for writing an electrostatic latent image. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting panel 10 of the image printer, where the plurality of light-emitting elements 14A and 14B with light-emitting characteristics changed by imparted electric energy are arranged, can emit beams, which constitute images different from each other, from both sides. The beam, which is emitted from one side of the light-emitting panel 10, is applied to each of surfaces of two (e. g. photo-conductor drums 110Y and 110M) of photo-conductor drums 110Y, 110M, 110C and 110K, so that the electrostatic latent image can be formed on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
