PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for aluminium electrolytic capacitor in which withstand voltage can be raised while reducing the resistivity. SOLUTION: A solvent principally comprising ethylene glycol is mixed with a carboxylic acid such as adipic acid, sebacic acid, azelaic acid, or 1,6-decane dicarboxylic acid or its ammonium salt, and further mixed with 0.10-5.00 wt.% of 2,5-dithioacetic acid-1,3,4-thiaziazole represented by chemical formula. Consequently, chemical reaction of electrolyte and an electrode foil can be controlled and withstand voltage of electrolyte can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
