PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make prompt cooperation of a device purchased by a user by easily enabling cooperation of a communicable device by a simple registration work.SOLUTION: A device management apparatus 10 communicates with an operation unit 30 and devices 21, 22 to manage the devices 21, 22 by an instruction from the operation unit 30. The device management apparatus 10 includes: a device type storage unit 122 for registering the device types of the devices 21, 22; and a device information storage unit 121 for registering the devices 21, 22 to be managed. On receiving a registration request from the devices 21, 22, a registration processing unit 101 discriminates whether or not the device type is registered in the device type storage unit 122, to register into the device information storage unit 121. On receiving from the operation unit 30 a management request from the device 22 which is not registered in the device type storage unit 122, a management processing unit 102 transmits a management item included in the management request to the device 22 intact. |
