CUTTING ELIMINATION METHOD FOR EXISTING PIPE, AND CUTTING DEVICE FOR EXISTING PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily secure a pressure liquid for use in a leakage test of a case and a work housing and to rationally perform post-treatment for that. SOLUTION: In this cutting elimination method for an existing pipe for sealing a cutting work region of the existing pipe 1 with the upward open case A and the downward open work housing to cut and eliminate a part of the sealed existing pipe 1, the case A is mounted to the cutting work region of the existing pipe 1, and a liquid inlet is formed in a part of a cutting elimination predetermined pipe part by boring. A feed liquid pipe 66 comprising an on-off valve 64 is connected to the liquid inlet, and the work housing is mounted to the case A to seal the cutting work region of the existing pipe 1. After carrying out the leakage test of the case A and work housing by filling the supply liquid into the sealed space from the feed liquid pipe 66, the cutting predetermined part of the existing pipe 1 is cut with a cutting device in the sealed space.
