PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store contents to be distributed in streaming.

SOLUTION: A LAN communication section 40 receives streaming contents to be distributed in a streaming format from a content distributing apparatus. An input section 54 receives an instruction of storing the streaming contents currently received by the LAN receiving section 40. A control section 52 requests the content distributing section to down load a content file corresponding to the streaming contents on the basis of the storing instruction received by the input section 54. The LAN communication section 40 receives the content file from the content distributing apparatus in accordance with the request in the control section 52.
