PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner comprising a mist generating device capable of being properly mounted on a desired wall portion and having good appearance. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner A with the mist generating device, provided with the mist generating device MG rotatable around a prescribed central shaft C1 at its lower portion and engaged with a mounting plate 8 fixed to the desired wall portion 90 at its upper portion, a contact portion 50b kept into contact with the mounting plate 8 is disposed at an upper part with respect to the mist generating device MG, of the lower portion of the air conditioner A, the contact portion 50b is provided with a screw body insertion hole 50b' for inserting a screw body 95 obliquely upward, a top face 10b of the mist generating device MG is rotatable to take an attitude inclined downward at a front part, and when this attitude is taken, a space S for allowing the screw body 95 to be inserted to the screw body insertion hole 50b' from its front oblique lower portion and performing its fastening work, is formed at an upper part of the mist generating device MG.
