The present invention relates to a novel method for cell selection, in which a chitin binding domain (ChBD) having high affinity to chitin which is an insoluble polymer of N-acetyl glucosamine or a cellulose binding domain (CBD) having high affinity to cellulose is imparted on surfaces of eukaryotic cells. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for isolating transgenic eukaryotic cells, comprising the step of introducing an expression cassette including the ChBD or CBD to the eukaryotic cells and then selecting the introduced eukaryotic cells; a method for isolating plasma membranes; the expression cassette; a vector comprising the expression cassette; eukaryotic cells to which the vector is introduced; and a kit for isolating transgenic eukaryotic cells, comprising the expression cassette. |
