摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a switching loss of a power MOSFET, which is provided between a battery and a load in series, and prevent thermal breakage of the power MOSFET when controlling the power MOSFET to an off state.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring microcontroller 1 compares a battery current, which flows to a battery 11 and is detected by a current sensor 12, with a predetermined threshold value to thereby determine whether the battery current exceeds the predetermined threshold value. When having determined that the battery current exceeds the predetermined threshold value, the battery monitoring microcontroller 1 transmits, to a vehicle control microcontroller 3, a request signal requesting reduction of a load current of a load 5. The vehicle control microcontroller 3 controls power supply from the battery 11 to the load 5 of a vehicle and, in response to the signal requesting the load current reduction from the battery monitoring microcontroller 1, reduces the load current of the load 5 of the vehicle. The battery monitoring microcontroller 1 controls power MOSFETs 13 and 14 to an off state under a state where the battery current is equal to or lower than the predetermined threshold value.
