The present invention relates to a wearable device for generating an image signal, and a system for controlling the same. A wearable device according to an embodiment of the present invention, which generates an image signal of the surroundings of a user in a wireless communication system, comprises: a frame unit which is to be worn on the body of the user; an image pick-up unit for picking up an image of the surroundings of the user; a battery unit for supplying power to the wearable device; a long term evolution (LTE) communication module which is embedded within the device and is directly connected to at least one external device to transmit and receive a communication signal; a voice signal input/output unit for receiving, from the user, a voice signal to be transmitted to the at least one external device, or outputting, to the user, the voice signal received from the at least one external device; and a control unit for controlling the image pick-up unit to pick up an image of the surroundings of the user in response to a first command received from a biometric state measurement device while generating an image signal of the surroundings of the user, including the picked-up image of the surroundings of the user, and transmitting the image signal to the at least one external device through the LTE communication module, wherein the first command can be transmitted from the biometric state measurement device in the case where the value of user's biometric signal information measured by the biometric state measurement device is different from a predetermined reference by a predetermined value or more. |
