PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleability by preventing the release of stannous oxide powder.SOLUTION: There is provided a tablet hardened by compressing a mixture comprising stannous oxide powder and a binder such as polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and gelatin which are soluble in a liquid for plating. Moreover, an antioxidant such as hydroquinone and catechol may be added to the tablet. The tablet may be coated by a coating layer such as a coating film and a capsule that comprise hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glucose, pullulan and the like which are soluble in a liquid for plating and have oxygen-barrier characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
