A data theft prevention device and method. The method comprises: acquiring a first signal sent by a reader (201); determining an attribute of the first signal according to the first signal (202); and sending an interference signal corresponding to the attribute of the first signal and/or an interference signal corresponding to an attribute of a second signal according to the determined attribute of the first signal, so as to allow the interference signals to be superimposed with the first signal and/or the second signal to interfere with reader's reading of data in a radio frequency card (203). A signal sent by a reader is acquired, an attribute of the signal is determined, and then an interference signal is sent according to the attribute, and further the communication between the reader and a radio frequency card is interfered, so that the reader cannot read data in the radio frequency card, thereby protecting the security of data information in the radio frequency card, and preventing the possibility of data information theft of the radio frequency card.
