The present invention addresses the problem of making assembling work of a rod-shaped cosmetic container easy and reliable. The solution is configuring a cap (3) of the rod-shaped cosmetic container (1) with a first cap portion (11), an inner cylinder that is internally fitted to an upper part of the first cap portion, a return spring (20) that biases the inner cylinder upward, and a second cap portion (12) that is externally fitted rotatably relative to the first cap portion, and forming in the first cap portion a temporary holding hole (22) in which a guide protrusion (13a) formed on the inner cylinder is temporarily held against the biasing force of the return spring, for having an upper end portion of the inner cylinder located lower than an upper end portion of the first cap portion in a state where the guide protrusion is temporarily held in the temporary holding hole, so that the upper end portion of the first cap portion is deformed to bend radially inward without being obstructed by the inner cylinder when the second cap portion is externally fitted to the first cap portion. |
