[Problem] To provide a vehicle-mounted electronic device control device that monitors the execution time of a control program for a vehicle-mounted electronic device in fine time units, and that, upon detection of abnormality in the execution time of a process obtained by subdividing the control program, enables a vehicle-mounted electronic device control process to continue by replacing the process with a simple alternative process in the next period. [Solution] A vehicle-mounted electronic device control device monitors, using an MCU provided in the control device, the execution time of each normal process obtained by subdividing a vehicle-mounted electronic device control program. Upon detection of abnormality in the execution time of the normal process due to a timer interrupt process by a general-purpose timer and software contained in the MCU, the control device replaces the normal process with an alternative process paired with the normal process in the next period and performs the alternative process, so as to enable the vehicle-mounted electronic device control to continue. |
