Provided is a linear member for medical use which has excellent operability and increases the level of visibility for a technician, even inside of the body. A linear member main body (1) is provided with: a dyed section (11) which is one end side of the main body that has been dyed, along a fixed area thereof, so as to be a colour that is complementary to blood; and an auxiliary dyed section (12) which has been dye-marked at even intervals in the lengthwise direction, in the area other than the dyed section (11). |
