PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive support device capable of suppressing the reduction of an engine speed at the time when a brake force is applied to wheels in accordance with the execution of a drive support control.SOLUTION: When an engine speed Ne is less than a guard rotation number NeTh2 while a vehicular downslope control is being executed, a target speed VS_T of the vehicular downslope control is enlarged. When the target VS_T is higher than the body speed VS, there is reduced a braking force BP to be applied to the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
