PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope light source device and an endoscope system capable of matching the color of a dye scattering region when an addition-type light source is used to the color of a dye scattering region when a wideband light source is used.SOLUTION: The addition-type light source comprises: a red light source emitting first red light LR1; a green light source emitting green light LG of which wavelength band exists in a side having wavelengths longer than the peak wavelength of the first red light; and a first dichroic mirror (DM). The first red light LR1 enters one face of the first DM; the green light LG enters the other face of the first DM. The first DM has a band restriction property which reflects the light with wavelength bands between a first threshold T1A and a second threshold T1B. The first threshold T1A exists between the peak wavelength of the first red light LR1 and the peak wavelength of the green light LG. The second threshold T1B exists in a side of which wavelengths are longer than the peak wavelength of first red light LR1. The first DM extracts second red light LR2 which is a wavelength component of which wavelength is longer than the second threshold T1B and guides it to the light path of the first red light LR1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
