PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalination system using reverse osmosis in which optimum chemical feeding can be performed individually on membrane units of a plurality of stages.SOLUTION: A desalination system S of the present invention comprises a front RO unit 101 using a reverse osmosis membrane 101a, a rear RO unit 102 using another reverse osmosis membrane 102a, an energy recovery apparatus 108 to recover energy of high-pressure concentrated water 101n supplied from the front RO unit 101, and chemical feeding means 110B to feed a chemical agent to the concentrated water 101n that is depressurized by recovering the energy from the high-pressure concentrated water in the energy recovery apparatus 108. The concentrated water 101n supplied with the chemical agent is sent to the rear RO unit 102 using the energy of the high-pressure concentrated water 101n supplied from the front RO unit 101, the energy being recovered in the energy recovery apparatus 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
