PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control device which reduces discomfort of a driver caused by a change in drive force of a hybrid vehicle associated with switchover of required drive force when a driving mode is switched between an engine driving mode to drive the hybrid vehicle with the drive force of an internal combustion engine and an electromotor driving mode to drive the same with the drive force of a rotary electromotor.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle control device controls drive force of a hybrid vehicle in a manner that switches between an engine driving mode to drive a hybrid vehicle with drive force of an internal combustion engine and an electromotor driving mode to drive the same with the drive force of a rotary electromotor and calculates required drive force respectively for the engine driving mode and the electromotor driving mode in accordance with predetermined characteristics on the basis of an accelerator opening and a vehicle speed. When the driving mode is switched, the hybrid vehicle control device controls the drive force of the hybrid vehicle on the basis of the required drive force for the previous driving mode even after the same is switched until at least either the accelerator opening or the vehicle speed is changed (S10 and S12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
