PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect control parameters of a magnetic head and a head amplifier by using the optimum value at the time of inspection for shipment of a magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: This head suspension assembly 4 is provided with a freely rotatably supported arm 17, an elastically deformable suspension 16 connected to one end of the arm and also attached with the magnetic head 2 at the another end, and a signal transmitting line 18 fixed on the suspension and the arm to connect the magnetic head and a main FPC. The constitution is made in such a manner that the head amplifier 8 for transferring a signal with respect to the magnetic head is mounted on the head suspension assembly. The nonvolatile memory 9 for preserving the optimized control parameters of the magnetic head and the head amplifier are mounted on the head suspension assembly, then the head amplifier and the nonvolatile memory are electrically connected to the signal transmitting line.
