PAGE PRINTER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A page printer and a control method thereof are provided to prevent a printing paper waste caused by data damage by printing until the number of pages and the counted number of form feed control characters are equalized. CONSTITUTION: A controller(216) receives the number of all pages for a printing data from a computer through an input and output unit. Then, the number is stored in a page number storage. The printing data is delivered to the controller and stored in a printing data storage(212) for some time. The controller counts the number of form feed control characters by a counter(214). When the number of the form feed control characters is less than the number of all pages, the printing data becomes a printing image through an image processor(215). The printing image is printed by a print engine(220).
