PURPOSE: A record reproducing method of an optical record medium is to detect and regulate a tilt from a tracking center offset detected at a specific position of the inside and the outside of an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: A record reproducing method of an optical record medium comprises the steps of: rotating the optical record medium at a specific position of the inside and the outside of the optical record medium respectively, and thus detecting tracking error signals at each position; detecting tilt amounts from the difference between the tracking error signals of the inside and the outside of the optical record medium; and performing the tilt servo in the direction of reducing the tilt amounts. The tracking error signals are detected by rotating the optical record medium when only a focus serve is turned on at a corresponding position. The step comprises detecting the difference between center offsets of the tracking error signals. The step comprises storing the tilt amounts of the optical record medium in advance, and then performing the tilt servo in the direction of reducing the tilt amounts at a corresponding record reproduction position in the record reproduction.
