A robotic arm (10) comprises a plurality of interconnected segments (12) whi ch are flexible relative to each other to permit the arm (10) to be bent. A connection part (14) is provided at each end (22, 24) of the arm (10) for electrical connection with a selected docking station (18). The robotic arm (10) can be moved between a first and a second docking station (18) by bendi ng the arm (10) such that the second end (24) of the arm (10) is connecting to the second docking station (18) and then disconnecting the first end (22) of the arm (10) from the first docking station (18). In this way the robotic ar m (10) can be moved around a network of docking stations (18). |
