PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire rubber composition which enables on-ice performance and wearing resistance to be made highly compatible, the rubber composition being obtained by blending an expandable microcapsule into diene rubber.SOLUTION: A rubber composition is provided in which a master batch including a thermoplastic resin A having a polar functional group and thermally expandable microcapsule B are blended with diene rubber. The rubber composition contains: the thermoplastic resin A of 1 to 20 pts.wt. and the thermally expandable microcapsule B of 1 to 10 pts.wt. in the diene rubber of 100 pts.wt. In the rubber composition, a ratio (A/B) of a weight of the thermoplastic resin A to a weight of the thermally expandable microcapsule B is 0.3 or more, a shell material of thermally expandable microcapsule B is formed from nitryle-bsed polymer, and SPr<SPt≤SPn and (SPn-SPt)≤9 are satisfied, wherein SPt is a solubility parameter of the thermoplastic resin A, and Spr is a solubility parameter of the diene rubber. |
